That seems on low side for me if I was concerned about miles. The maintenance records and any rust underneath would be my concerns.

That many miles means it was driven a proper amount. Too few miles , like under 10k on that would make me more concerned.

I found my 2014 with 38k miles on it. (It was a weekend truck that wasn't driven daily, no rust with a few minor scratches) almost too low. I was questioning it until I heard the story behind it. Turned out to be the deal of a lifetime.

I got my 12 in 17 with 59k on it. I like things on the lower end personally. If you are going to pay for it, why get something with a higher amount of miles. Mine has given me zero major issues. The minors are the headlight plug went out, the driver seat motor went out, and other than the key fob that's been it. It will be 10 this year and best truck I have ever owned.

It sounds like a great truck! I wouldn't be scared of it.

My truck was new so 0 I guess. But I wouldn't be afraid of 81k. When I had a Silverado it had like 90k on it when I bought. Had to have the rear end redone and gears pretty quickly, but it also had a 6 inch lift when I bought it.

I routinely put 18-22k a year on mine...so if I was buying used that would be my marker.

For a soon to be 7yr/old truck, that mileage is average. It's what I would expect on a vehicle of that age.

My last two Ram 1500 purchases were used, ~1yr/old. My 2017 had 12K miles on it and my 2019 was an ex-rental with 15K on it.

If I'm helping my kids buy something on a budget, I try for 4yrs/ 60K miles. Rust belt is tough on vehicles.

That is WAY too expensive. You can get 2019's with 40,000 KM for less than $40,000.

It's all about the deal, if it is low enough I will buy anything.

Went and drove the truck today. The wife and I really like it but didn't want to pay $37,500. He said his bottom line is $35,500 which is a $2k reduction which I thought fair considering his asking. That would make the truck $28,900 in USD.

I have to let him know in the morning if I want to accept the deal.

what is the msrp? You gonna pay close to 30k for a used truck with over 81k miles? What model? They kicking in a long warranty?
