I'm new to this forum stuff so I apologize if this is hard to understand.

Have a 2014 Ram 3500 SRW Tradesman. I recently upgraded the radio an 8.4. I added volume controls the the back of my steering wheel, and while doing so I added the left front controls with VR and bluetooth calling capabilities. With the assistance of Mp Grimm2 I was able to upgrade the radio bezel, backup camera and ac controls. While discussing my wiring options we learned that my mirror with camera display had a 14pin connector and harness was prewired for a mirror with microphones.

My options were limited as I wanted to have microphones in my rearview mirror, but also wanted to keep my rear camera display in both the mirror and the radio. So this is what I did...

I started with a doner mirror (68102484AA) which was a manual dim. It had a 10pin connector with only four wires. I took it apart and pulled out the microphones. I purchased it on eBay under $30

These tools were very helpful

My mirror (68104884) auto dim w/camera display w/14pin connector. My harness (68138978AC); this part number was found near the connector located in the dash by the passenger a pillar.
