Man... who jacked up seat prices...

I'm looking for some laramie seats, heated cooled etc... What fits my 2018 2500, I know 14-18 will for, does that apply to 1500 seats into the 2500 as well?

And if the seats had the airbag go off, and I'm fine (price is right) installing new katskinz, will tradesman airbags even fit?

What kind of prices have you been running into?

Local yard wanted 1k for each front seat, 900 for the rear seat (2016 Laramie, black leather, electric, etc)
But the seats looked like they had some hard miles on them... and would need to be re-skinned to look good.

I do see plenty with deployed airbags, so If I can find a set that needs new leather (Katskinz) and I can move my airbag over, I dont mind doing that

I see some up in Canada, I'm only an hour form the border (Wa state) so it may be worth a drive if I can verify the border won't be an issue...

As Im in no huge hurry, I'll just keep looking for a bit.

Best I can tell, and 1500, 2500, 3500 4th gen seat will work, just need to find the style and options I'm after.

So looking on car-part for 1500 seats, I see reasonable prices on a few 1500's closer to me.

$1,000 each is insane. For both…. depends.

1500, 2500 and 3500 are options. Rebels I have found to be the odd on out as the floor pan mounts seem to be a bit different.

Yeah,
I found some 2015 1500 sport seats but the leather was worn pretty bad. They'd need new katskinz and a new driver's foam.
Gundies auto wrecking wanted 550 a seat...

Just wanted to share my experience adding Laramie front power, heated, vented seats to my 2017 1500 crew cab express. Purchased the wiring harness from @Mpgrimm2 and had him also add pdc power to the inverter under the passenger seat and the harness to the AC outlet. Install was super easy with that harness, insanely good quality and everything was labeled where to terminate and tie in. Only real hiccup I ran into personally was my i315 plug under the drivers side kick panel had no slack at all so landing the 2 wires into that connector definitely took some patience. Other than that I didn’t run into much issues. I purchased the correct switch panel for the features I added (PN: 68247629aa) and have the 8.4 RA4 radio conversion from infotainment, so when I changed all the necessary codes through AlfaOBD everything worked flawlessly (buttons on cluster and 8.4 showed the controls as well). I attached a picture of where I ran the harness into the cab of the truck. I decided to go through the clutch delete plate.

Howdy Everyone,
Hoping I can get some assistance on this. Just got done installing the harness (top notch harness!!...thanks @Mpgrimm2).
Got everything in the PDC buttoned up and realized that I didn't unhook my second battery...uh oh!

Went to start my truck...no crank and my gauge cluster lights/info center is going crazy with lights and messages. Truck accessories have power. Fearing that my battery negligence bricked my ECU.

Checked fuses related to ECM/PCM and all looked good. Unhooked my batteries for an hour...still no go.

Recheck all connections etc. that you added terminals etc to. Make sure they are fully seated and locked in place.

If the canIHS plugs on your seat harness are White, make sure they are installed in the correct canIHS blocks (vs Can C).
