hey guy's i'm looking for some answer , i have an aftermarket back up camera that is working fine with my previous radio RA2, than i switch to a VP4 , but now i have a 4c and when i put in reverse ( truck is manual ) the screen don't switch, i have to manually press the backup camera icon to show in the screen , but when it showed up the camera view it is write backup cam unavailable ? , i try all kind of activation thru bcm / radio , i have some code pop up , that said lost communication with camera , but like i said , when i press the backup icon , it is showing the view ? anyone experience this issue ? i just try to figure out , why it is not activating when reverse
I believe @ManualCummins & @Roman217 have determined that there's a difference in the manual trans g56 trucks with the way the BuCam message is generated on the communication bus (ecu vs BCM I believe?) and the 4c radios not able to read that original message?

Don't quote me on that ... I may have it backwards.

I'll have to look up the name of the module but I'm running a module behind the radio with a manual trigger off of the reverse light circuit this is the only solution that works reliably

Doesn't that have to be custom programmed to interface/send the correct Can messages

If it can be found anymore at a reasonable price this right here is straight just plug it in and you can program it via their software no custom programming and all you have to do is set input one to a positive trigger then run the trigger wire out to the fuse box for the reverse lights
They may be difficult to come by at this point but I only paid about $125 for it when I bought it

Everything works perfect it allows up to four cameras the only downside is you can't use your camera delay

I just did the Seat Module & UAQ Upgrade in my 2016 Tradesman. A huge shout out to

Mp grimm2 for the fantastic harness's he made and the help I was given. I couldn't have done this without his help. I originally had the grey cloth manual seats, now have 2013 leather, power heat and cooled front and rear heated seats. I had the heated seat module pn 68058083AL and i was told to replace it with PN 68217268AF if i wanted the touch screen controls to show up. It took about 30hrs for the truck to communicate with the new module and another couple after that before the controls actually showed up but they finally did and work great. I followed the instructions in this thread and @Roman217 ’s Post #2,697

How To: Install a 2018 4C (UAQ/UAS) Radio EDIT: UPGRADED HSM module 68217268AF for UAx
Thanks Guys!

Just wanted to relate my experience in upgrading to the newer seat module 68217268AF. It did not make the soft keys function in my truck a 2014 1500 Limited. I used AlfaOBD to Disable the "Cabin Net - HSM Heated Seat Module Initialize" after the module was installed for a few days and the soft keys did not work. I let the truck sit over night and then Enabled the "Cabin Net - HSM Heated Seat Module Initialize". I can connect to the module with Alfa and it shows the correct part number so it the truck knows it has the newer module. I've been living without the soft keys for over 3 years so it's not a big deal, but I did waste around $75 on the newer module.

Hi everyone. Trying to find a conversion harness for the media hub. Putting a 2018 uconnect in a 2013. I can’t seem to to find just the harness. Any help would be awesome.
