Just curious. When I put the new Radio in my truck it reads from the BCM to see what the truck is equipped with correct?
How do I get it to refresh again at a later time to re-read from the BCM?

Correct. It can take 30 mins to 2 days to finish.
Pull the inline radio fuse under the hood by the firewall to force a reset. (Or battery)

(ie RA2 5.0” radio with Phone/VR button & Mics on Mirror handsfree calling? … Satellite Radio?? )

** If factory 8.4 radio equipped... Does it have Dual Zone ATC (Auto Temp Climate Control)?



8.4 Radio type:
(What’s the Actual PN , Year/Model of the 2018/Classic 4th Gen UAS/UAQ 8.4 radio you plan to use? ie 2018 UAQ PN: 68331631AK. Stick with 4th Gen Panasonic 4c radios. 5th gen Aptiv/Delphi radios have issues)



Parts:
(Any parts you already have/bought, with actual PNs please? ie HVAC module, 8.4 bezel, etc?)



Other:

I do have the 8.4 radio equipped, I have the ATC as well.

I am planning on buying the 68331635AK from a 2019 Ram.

As I understand it I do not need the bezel as I already have an 8.4 radio and am just upgrading to a newer version. I have purchased the 5XG28DX9AD (Compass Aux)

(any other specific info, Backup/Cargo Cam? If so, where do they display?)

I do have the backup camera and it is displayed on the current 8.4 screen.

It's listed in post 5. They have been on backorder for over a year.

You should just need the Panasonic 4c radio, USB hub and Hub adapter harness for your setup. Your radio PN looks good.

Pics below but I just looked and they posted additional pics. It's not an 8.4. Much smaller screen so no use to me anyway. Thanks anyway. Still trying to find one locally with no luck. Seems there are a few folks that are able to scoop them up and are making a business out of reselling. Good for them, more costly for the rest of us. Such is life.
