4 screws in the back.a whole lot easier to take the wheel off to get to the button connectors and such.a rented or 15.00 puller and one bolt the wheel will be off in 30 seconds.

Make sure you unhook the battery first. The airbag may get frosty on you and give you a good smack in the face. Took mine off a few years back to add the audio control. Very simple task. But nerve racking thinking I might get smacked in the face at any second while messed with it.

arkid i have the same wheel wondering which buttons you. added have a link ?
as i would like to do the same , mines a 2010, also is the wiring in place for more button ?
