Why is anyone against this guy posting his videos? He is helping the Ram community by doing this. Yes, maybe you know about whatever he is posting already but others may not.

Keep up the videos OP!
Because, he was disingenuous and wasted our time. Period, end of report!

OP hope this post was worth it. I did not click the obvious clickbait but reading the replies you're not very popular. Expect this subject to be brought up/referenced every time you make a future post. If you're trying to grow your YT channel this is the wrong way to go about it. I'm sure you'll want to argue that point tho

It's true that many of us have known about this for years. But there are many who are new to Ram and don't know. It's called tribal knowledge, and it sucks for people who are new to Ram. It's good information for people who don't know how to temporarily disable MDS for free. I may not agree with how the OP went about it, but I have no problem with information like this being posted.

Do do not turn MDS off permanently. You can do engine damage because of the way the lifters are Oiled.

I agree the original poast is a bit suspect (may turn out to be harmless at best) but I still am not sure why there is a such an urge to turn MDS off. I have had my Ram for almost 8 years and I don't even notice it but I do know that without it your gas mileage will suffer. Also for the guy who has the fuel sender error, it may indicate other issues other than no MDS. I had that error and it was due to critters chewing the wiring as well as the gas tank. I don't like riding around with error messages since they tend to pile up and then you're driving a piece of junk. For me at least, when it breaks, I fix it. Everybody else can do what works for them.

And we're supposed to believe what you say why?

Why in the world would they design an engine in such a was as to be damaged at the time when it's working the hardest (towing or hauling)?

I agree with you that everyone should at least try to do their own research on things rather than believe what people say in a forum. But your first two sentences are doing exactly what you said not to believe.
