sounds like the hub is making noise on my 2014 ram with 55,000 miles. Driver front.

I am going to switch with a buddies truck the front wheels and just make sure it’s not my duratracs im hearing.

But my question is what brand wheel hub assembly would you guys recommend to replace it with?

Thanks

Just spin the wheels with the tires off the ground and you'll hear if the bearing is failing. I know with it failing at 55000 miles you'll be unsure of my suggestion, but I'd just get a mopar one. Moog makes good products and so do timken typically as well.

As said, both of those brands are quality hub assembly's. However, the last two I replaced. My tech got from NAPA in their gold box line. I was surprised at the quality of those rotors. That was 100k miles ago.

Op that is a lot of work just to test a suspicion. As noted you should be able to confirm your thoughts without taking the other truck apart.

Jack your truck up.... grab the tire at top and bottom and try to move it in and out!...9/10 times, if your hub bearing is bad, there will be a good amount of movement!! While you're doing this, grab the tire at 9 & 3 and check for side-to-side movement for tie rod end play too... No need to swap tires.
