I hoping someone in here had same problem - sounds exactly like front wheel hub assembly humming with very fast and slight steering wheel vibration for last 18 months or more- replaced both from wheel hubs - twice with last ones being Timken last that 1000 km ago. Brakes are all new upper and lower control arms and bushing and tie rods and upper and lower ball joints all new new sway bar links and bushing and still have sound - increases as speed increases starting around 40 km does not change or go away with turning left or right or under power or coasting or in 4 wheel drive or not. Pinion bearing on rear end was loose when checked it and tightened it with no leaks or noise. Jacked up truck put on jack stands with front chalked and not a sound up to 90 km but right back when driving truck gas 173000 km both differentials fluid lady changed 1500 km and ago with normal fluid and very little filing on magnets transfer case fluid changed 500 km ago and looked perfect all ujoint replaced last weekend - no change and were not bad no play in yokes at diffs or transfer case - I stumped

Rotate the tires front to back and see if the steering shake goes away. Could be a bad tire.
