I've noticed that my hvac doors are a little bit delayed. Anything I can check or do to fix it?

The HVAC doors and motors are rather strange. The connector that allows the door to move with the motor can break. Depending upon which model truck you have it may be an easy fix of this happened or a full dash removal (had the door connectors break on me and had to remove the dash to replace the doors and connectors). Thankfully for the door that controls where the air comes from is an easy fix, and the cost is cheap. This is a known problem and the dealers have the proper items to fix it. Here is a link to YouTube that describes the fixes I am talking about: 2005 Dodge Ram A/C Recirculate Blend Door How To Repair Dash Removal - YouTube

That is just one of many that show how to fix this problem. Do a search with these terms: Dodge Ram HVAC door fix.

Thanks I will search more about that. It FEELS like a 10-15 second delay. For example, I will star the truck in the morning and it'll be on my face, so i will switch it to defrost, and it will take a little while before it switches.

It shouldn't take 10-15 seconds, but perhaps 1-2 seconds.
It's most certainly not instant like the old trucks were (They 'fixed' it)

Actually mine does that also when the truck is cold. So it might be normal. Not sure if the little motors ever go out though so might look into that as well.
