Honestly no as my 4th generation even though it was basic, did everything that I wanted and more. I always looked forward to finding an excuse to drive it. Heck I drove it to N.C to drop off my friends glasses that she left at our home lol. I know some think the 4th Gen look dated, but I personally loved the look and all the truck afforded me.

I figure I’ll stop where I am currently with this truck and put away my lunch money for when the time comes for the Supercharger. Honestly I don’t want to do more with this as I’m fully enjoying it as it sits. Doing more would be just doing things to spend money.

Plus you got to spend money on that Audi

I can second that one. The 4th gen is timeless in my opinion. I’m still warming up to the 5th gen. I just can’t believe they ditched the classic ram grill.

I know right, but based upon the shape of this 5th gen I know the grill look would not have flowed well.

Ok here’s where the rubber meets the road so to say lol. I have (2) current things in my possession to install. Of course seeing as it’s 16 degrees here that’s not going to happen today. I’ll have everything done by next Thursday before I go for my one day surgery. After that based upon my feelings, I’ll put this on hold until the Whipple is out and tested.

I could throw a bunch of other things at it, but at some point you have to accept the fact that it’s good where it is lol. Now I will say if a set of wheels come out that totally transforms the current look, well we shall see. :)49147ed51e20495fe8c4a5ddbe4eb192.jpg

My buddy is trying to convince me to run a set of these on my oem Laramie tires for this spring / summer. They are LT 325/65/18..13bb0986a4609495ce408830aec96cb0.jpg

I ran those tires (275/65/18) for about 3 years on 3 different 2500 ram trucks for about ~18k miles and when I sold them had a little less than 1/2 tread on them. I thought they were a great all around tire. Good in the snow, mud and highway.

See my only concern is that’s a heavy tire to run on a 1500 in my opinion lol.

Looks like those way about 69LBS a piece. Not terrible, just as a comparison the Cooper Discoverer STT Pro weigh about 78LBS and a Goodyear duratracs are about 64LBS.

35's are also in that weight range and people run them on half tons.

Will that extra weight cause problems in the long run, probably. Extra strain on the drive train, loss in mpgs.

But people tow all the time with half tons. The drive train can handle it.

Will run them for the next week and report back my thoughts as far as install, quality of product, and my complaints.
