Ok my detailed came to the house to start the ceramic coating process. He was able to fully do my interior, then pulled off and did all four wheels. The the skies opened and down came the rain. Since my truck no longer fits into my garage, he will come back on Tuesday to do the exterior. Pictures to follow of the exterior as with an all black interior, it doesn’t show well on photos.

How much does your detailer charge for the ceramic coating for the exterior and wheels and what product does he use? What does he do for the interior?

I’m looking into doing this on my 2018 and live in Delaware not too far from you IIRC.

Ordered my Billet silver mirror caps, now hopefully they are actually an item that I can get lol. Didn’t have much luck with my oem black Mopar tips or my black Magnaflow mufflers sadly.

Well of course I’m hearing the “ Billet caps “ have been pulled and no eta on when I’ll get them. The Magnaflow once again has no eta, and my black above the front grill piece also has no eta lol. I’m going to rename my truck “ no E.TA “......

Well just as another update, I’m going to try and order an all black Laramie front grill and appliqué piece. I’ll wait it out for my Billet silver mirror caps & my Magnaflow cat back with 5” black tips exhaust. I already have my black RAM letters for the front grill as well as my lights for the third brake light area.

This will be where I end as far as my exterior. During the winter, I’ll concentrate on doing the SQ system.

Picked up my appliqué today which of course comes unpainted. Now I’m waiting for the exact part number for an unpainted Laramie grill. This way I can have them painted at the same darn time.

But of course I can not leave well enough alone, so I have my parts guys looking to get me a “ Sports “ hood with all black emblems...

The hardest part for me is the fact that these parts probably won’t be readily available until 2019. I even have calls out to my body shop to see maybe if they have someone in the know to grab this for me.

Ok my black Ram door emblems are here as well as my appliqué ( unpainted ). As I’m still away for vacation this stuff will be put on hold until next week. The Ridgid lights came in but upon holding them to where I would place them, wasn’t feeling that look.

So it looks like I’ll have to get creative reverse light wise lol.

Ok the two last parts that I need for the Sports hood seem to be on national backorder. That’s another thing that I’ll just hang in my waiting for pile lol.
