I found a way to receive your own PIN CODE without the dealer :)

Any luck on getting it to work. Mines does nothing. I’m just waiting and waiting ver 2.2.5.0
I never got the RFH pin to come up on my 2018 3500 Tradesman and ended up going to the dealer to get it. Had zero issues with them giving it to me, took about 5 minutes in and out of parts department.

I'm not seeing the ability to pull the PIN code from a 2012 2500 in alfa, is this correct or am I missing something?

Should connect to your Radio Frequency Hub module, down towards the very bottom of the list should be "read pin."

The crazy thing mines did was it wouldn’t do anything when I pressed start so I left it connected and went and ate I came back and it had a pin but it was the wrong pin so that’s when I went to the dealership to get my pin and it worked program my new key fobs right in the parking lot

What year and model. Some reviews I read said didn't work for them. Mine is a 2018 ram 3500 Tradesman.

For my Rebel 21. AlfaOBD doesn't work getting the PIN. Just crash.
Last time I talked to Alexey, he still didn't have it fixed.

Right, it works in my 2013 2500, but I'm not seeing it in the list of options under RF hub for a 2012 or older 2500

I have a 2018 so not sure what to tell you. I guess maybe there’s certain year trucks it doesn’t work for. I never got it to come up but I also never waited until it timed out or failed. I’m guessing if I left it for a while it would do something but I’m not waiting that long lol

I went to my Dodge dealer that I've been dealing with for years to get the pin number for my '12 2500 work truck so I could program 2 new remotes for my truck because mine quit working. The lady behind the parts counter informed me that Chrysler said they couldn't give the number out unless I bought the key fob from them. After letting her know the number belonged to the truck and person that bought it and that didn't work I kindly told her to tell her higher ups whoever they are where they could insert "their" number. I was nice to her, It wasn't her fault she's just doing her job. I did as the OP here suggested and got the App (Chrysler Pin Puller) on my phone, bought 50 tokens for $14.99. I plugged in my ELM237 into my OBDII port in my truck and followed directions and recieved "MY" 4 digit pin number. I had to use 15 tokens to get it so now I can get the pin code for my other 2 vehicles, so a total of $5 per vehicle. After getting the code I opened my ALPHAOBD on my phone, went thru the process and had 2 key fob's programed in less than 10 minutes. Now "MY" pin numbers are written down and hidden in each one of my vehicles, don't have to worry about the greedy dealer anymore!

I tried pulling the pin thru alfaobd and didn't have any luck, I used the pin puller app and worked, well worth the 15 bucks not to have to hassle with the dealer. Confirmed the code was correct when I adjusted the tpms threshold numbers and reset rfh

Guess this depends on the dealer? In Orangeville my dealer gave me the codes for free… though they took a long while even figuring out what exactly I was asking for. Guess the service advisors don’t know what the mechanics know.

I did this too in my 2019 Ram 1500 Classic. I e-mailed Alfa and they said this was a bug.

The read PIN feature on 2019 model has an issue, sorry, I'm working on it, hope to provide a fix in the next update.

I just got my '17 Ram 2500 last week and want to make a few changes. I ordered the ODBLink MX+ and downloaded the Alphaodb software for this purpose. BUT after reading most of this thread, I now have to ask, will the Chrysler Pin Puller app work with the ODBLink MX+ ?

Yup, worked fine; unlike the closest dealer who said that the only code was a rolling 5 digit and was only good for 12 hours...no matter what I said.
