I get a clicking sound coming from the dash area when key is turned on position? It goes away after a few seconds, Truck still starts and runs fine.

Does the heat work properly. Come out the correct vents when you select them?

Can you located about where it's coming from? Does it do it with the blower fan "system" turned off?

Listen closely under the dash. You more than likely have a bad actuator that controls the vents of the HVAC.

Also if you remove the glove box you might be able to hear it better if it is a blend door actuator.
