Looking for a rebuild kit or specific parts for 2003 Dodge Ram 1500 front differential. It’s the chrysler 8.25 ring with 3.55 gears. I need the intermediate axle shaft support bearing on the left side. Looks like a pin or roller style bearing and the right side looks like a copper bearing. I can find the bearing for the pinion and carrier but not the shafts that the axles spine onto. Please help somebody.

This is what it looks like, the right side intermediate shaft rides on there and the axle seal covers it up, then the cv assembly will spine onto that shaft. The left side has a normal bearing and these both have wear.

Grab your VIN and hit up Benny at AllMoparParts in the vendor section of the forum.

I think the parts you are looking for are these:

BUSHING, Axle Shaft Right

52111167AA

BEARING, Axle Shaft Left

52069707

These part numbers are from page
# 36 of the 2003 DR Parts Manual.

Hello, I'm new here so sorry for jumping in on this thread. I had the same issue here. My question is can I replace the
BUSHING, Axle Shaft Right 52111167AA with the BEARING, Axle Shaft Left 52069707
that is used on the left side. my reason is I can get the needle bearing today and it's cheaper than the bushing. or should I just put the bushing that I pulled out back in? the only reason I'm replacing these is that I had to take the intermediate shafts out as the cv axle ends were stuck on and I tried everything to remove them but no luck. so I'm not sure that the bushing is even worn out but at the same time, I don't understand why dodge made it this way instead of using a needle bearing? any help would be greatly appreciated. I'm not a pro mechanic but I have worked on my own stuff since a teenager but this is my first time digging into a diff.
