Powerstop or ebc brand are the best pads and rotors. I wouldn't worry about the drilled n slotted rotors unless your using it in a high performance capacity.

I agree with McBroom. Although, because I tow and have a lift and oversized tires I went with the Power Stop z36 package front and back. But, that was more my choice. If you don’t tow or have oversized wheels and tires then choose a package that doesn’t have the drilled and slotted rotors. I use Power Stop on all of my customers cars and I’ve never had a complaint! They’re American made here in Chicago and you can get them on www.rockauto.com or Amazon or www.carid.com. Carid is the only 1 that will beat other sites prices.

When you go to pull the rotors air hammer helps especially if you are in the North east rust belt. I couldnt get mine to move even with a hydraulic puller. Put the puller on with a little tension. Then took air hammer around the hat popped right off. I went with the wagner e coated and believe it of not Home Depot beat everybodys price.

Yes pad life is seriously decreased with drilled n slotted rotors. I wouldn't use them and the brake dust generated is horrendous.

Blue Mule

Uh, no!

I have the Z36 powerstop kit, little to no dust compared to the stock setup. Very noticeable improvement in braking feel and bite.

An these don't appear to be "eating" the pads quick or anything.

Put a full set of Napa Fleet brakes front and rear on my 2014 1500 to replace the flaccid factory garbage. They work great. Night and day difference. And they're pretty clean, no dust to really complain about.

Now that is some funny $hit right there!:laughing1:

No, the funny part is how i know the casket thing, my dad went to the doctor years ago and the doc with NO bedside manner told him to go home and order him a casket on wal-mart website because dad wasn't doing what the doc said to be healthy.
