SO I am torn between the Callahan brake and rotor kit for 180 ( really has my attention)

OR the Wagner OEX pads and Wagner Ecoated rotors..

decisions
I can tell you I LOVE my OEX Pads! Quiet, and basically dust free ! And I would recommend Coated rotors as well. Bummer mine are un coated :( But have the Wagner Coated on my sons F 150 :) FYI I Hate Rust anywhere lol

Callahan won.... ordered them off ebay. Honestly came down to price. Wagner got to expensive for me.

When you get them, can you post some pics and give you're impression of them once they're installed?

My vote is for powerstop ceramic pads. I personally hate the brake squeal that metallic pads have on our trucks.

Install took about 3 hours. Good product overall breaking them in tonight. One rotor had a chip on the inside but I doubt itll have any affect. Funny part is even though there Callahan all the packaging said powerstop [emoji2369] b12116b76b06c710c77c1d89e72899a0.jpg1e0a839eba8cd89d1402eec40d920fa5.jpg6840c1fcc8f7a90b0ef286a29728c4ee.jpge60871e41bad6563d311f446097764d4.jpg

Very nice work. Did you paint your calipers in that 3 hours too? I have a set of R1 concepts ready to put on. I want to address my calipers and replacements are stupid money and covers are just meh...and pricey.

Did those wildpeaks see any good snow storms? I have duratracs on my truck and they are awesome in the snow. I have wildpeaks on the wifes yukon but havent driven it in any snow really. curious how they compare.

I painted them with caliper paint. Didnt wanna go to flashy so I went with black. The tires handle AMAZING in the snow.

Go buy yourself caliper paint at your local advanced auto. It's what I've always done and its lasted each time

I have a 2015 Ram 1500 would you guys recommend keeping the stock calipers, with upgraded pads and rotors, and make sure everything is bled well or up grade all? Mainly a daily driver but used as a truck no Heavy towing as of right now. Thanks

I'd keep the calipers if I was doing it... and did

If your not replacing calipers, then no need to bleed.
I put R1 Concepts slotted/drilled on in 2019. The hats have all rusted over now, so I have a set of Hart Black rotors sitting on my workbench to install.
