This is my first post here on this forum, but I did a thorough search and could not find anyone who has attempted what I have in mind. I don't like posting redundant questions that have been posted previously - SO... to the best of my knowledge, nobody has asked this before (which I find odd).
So, I recently purchased my second Ram SRT10, and it's got really great bones to start a "show quality" project truck. The engine was fairly recently built by Scotty at Venomous 1 Racing, out of Waco Texas and has about 4000 miles on the new build, to my knowledge. He did a really excellent job on the engine build. It looks and sounds amazing! It has his V1R650 package which is basically a 650hp cam/heads/exhaust build. He also hydro dipped the intake and valve covers in red and black snake skin pattern. The truck has 89,000 miles on it now. Scotty stripped everything off the truck that he could for weight savings, including the bed liner, spare tire, and even the windshield fluid jug and second battery tray. I plan on restoring all that stuff and more.
Anyway, to the point...
I want to install an aftermarket steering wheel that is meant for newer Chargers, Challengers, Jeeps, etc. Does anyone out there have an idea of how much modification this will require? I am not at all concerned with audio controls. The only thing I would like to retain for sure is cruise control.
Any info or help is greatly appreciated! If I have to figure it out myself, I can do that. I am used to modifying things to work where they shouldn't.

Best regards,
Dwayne F. Sessom
