Well add Ol' Red to the list of winter casualties. On the way home from work last night road was blocked so I put truck in park. Set the park break, got out to help push cars up a hill and guess what. While I was out helping my truck slid down the hill into a ditch and into a tree. Bent the bed up pretty good. Pictures to follow.

I've run Goodyear Wranglers on my '01 Ram (2wd )for years without a problem of getting stuck. Have Wranglers on my new'17. Original Michilens sidewalls cracked at 28000. That's when I went to Goodyears. Got about 50k+ out of those sets

I wouldn't use SRA's (,ST and/or HP) on a tire swing. "wranglers" are not the problem, as there at least 2 other Wranglers with mountain snowflake cert (Duratrac and AllTerrain Adventure). MTR-K are no slouch either for other stuff.

Sorry for your problems. Damage looks isolated to a tail light and 1 body panel and atleast you hit something cheap (tree) vs another car(s).

Dude! That sucks. Glad no one was hurt. What has insurance said so far? Looks like the tonneau is ok?
Bumper, bed, tailgate, taillight, various incidentals....could have been a LOT worse.

As stated above, good on ya for helping out others. Karma will pay back eventually.

You might have to put out some dollars, but you could get the ram boxes if they have to replace the bed.

if thats not a what the **** moment nothing is......karma will get you upright in no time....good on you for helping. Hell that kind of slipperyness could of wrapped you and the truck around a tree.......
