Im replacing some suspension components on my ‘17 1500. One of my Bilstein 5100’s is seeping fluid. I installed them in 2018 at 2.1. I have replacements on the way. Rear currently has rubber 1.5” coils spacer on top of oem coils w/ Bilstein +2” shocks. I want to replace the rear set up with lifted springs. Reading reviews, Icon’s seemed to be a true 1.5” w/ a softer ride and the Superlift are just a 2” lift with the same characteristics as OEM. I am researching Eibach now.
New Bils will be set at 2.8 ( I have JBA UCA’s). I also have a 1.5” body lift.
I want to retain my .5”-.75” rake. Going to 35’s soon and I do not like the “stuffed” look, prefer fender clearance.
Need to solve the rear height issue. I need 2”.
Experience and suggestions requested! Thanks.

Eibach are 1” lift and are a tad stiffer. Could also look into jeep gladiator rear springs. @ram1500rsm has a write up on it somewhere. When I get around to building my overlanding stuff I’m thinking about swapping my eibach out for some gladiator coils to increase the load capacity for the added weight.

I have the icons, did get the 1.5” lift, ended up adjusting the front to relevel. I don’t tow or load heavy so the icons work good for me

Ok. So when you say “relevel”, did you lower the front? Also, that track bar drop…who makes that?
Thanks!

I went to Quick-Shifter’s shop & he adjusted-raised- my coil-overs. I want to say the bracket is from core, I’ll check my pm’s with Quick-Shifter to make sure

Eibach can work up to a 27” shock. Mine are 26.5” shocks. I’m looking at the synergy gladiator springs for my truck. They sell a 2”. Been waiting on their 1” lift for 2 years now but I guess I’ll be sticking with eibach.

Maybe I should just do the Icons…i need a true 1.5 - 2”. If I do 2.8 on my bilsteins, it will put me prob dead level. Im 40.5 FR and 41.25 RR now.

So heres a question…Do all Gladiator rear coils fit our 4th gens? Or just clayton and synergy?
Technically all gladiator springs. The upper coil bucket on a gladiator is 1/2” larger than our rams but they fit.

Hopefully the gladiator icon springs are comparable in spring rate

From what Ive read on the JT forums, reports are definitely stiffer than stock so we shall see.
That is the exact opposite that i would guess, but have never looked into it. That surprises me for sure. Seems like the jeep would be a lighter rig.
