Ignition problem?

hey guys, I have a 97 5.2 1500 and recently my truck hasn't been starting. I have a kill switch and its what helps turn my truck on when i turn the key. But recently I've been having problems with my truck start up. Usually when i turn the key the Check Eng and Gen lights come on, but now they flicker and only the oil light seems to stay on. So now I usually toy with the ignition to have the truck to start up. Any ideas to what this problem can be? I did replace my ignition switch and the starter relay..

Did you verify that the kill switch is working and the wiring for it is good? Seems to me like a faulty connection if the lights are just flashing...
