I have had zero luck being able to find anything related to acceleration on the 2011 1500. PLayed around with a few other things but so far I havent really found any good use for the money I spent on this AlfaObd app for the 2011. I see options like "This is an SRT, Police lighting, Off road equipped...etc" What do these things do? Anyone use Alfa on a 2011?

As I understand it: Police lighting allows you to completely turn off interior lights; SRT is for a sport mode equipped vehicle with the paddle shifters on the steering wheel; not sure about the off-road equipped.

I haven't been able to find any settings for it on my 2011, either. Don't think there is any.

Doesn't it have the global down setting for windows?

I'm looking forward to using that feature this summer when it gets stinky hot.

Now, if only I could get the global up to work.

What about the fog light dropout? Living in a rural area with LED driving lights, I'm a big fan of that feature.

And then fine tuning the wheels circumference size. The speedo isn't much good if it isn't accurate. LOL

That's what the young'ins always say.

Wow, yeah from what I can tell this just fully takes advantage of the gas pedal. Pedal commanders can go above and make it way too sensitive this feels like driving an older truck with throttle cables.

If this works for you please let me know, it may take an ignition cycle or two for it to work.
There is nothing wrong with the throttke cable systems, especially in the Cuda.

I have a 9-drive I got from Amazon about 2 years ago for a really good price. Still in the box. I’m scared to use it after seeing there is a chance of getting a fault or going into limp mode. I wouldn’t mind using for mainly around town driving and wouldn’t see a use on the highway where most were saying is when they get a fault, the speed drops drastically and goes into a limp mode. My question to those with a 9drive. Can you turn it off and then remove the possibility of getting a fault or is the fact that it’s installed part of the issue? I may under that instance install and use around town and then turn it off if I’m taking a road trip. I would rather have that peppy throttle response when driving locally where you would do more start stop and slow downs where you would probably enjoy the better responsiveness.

Not sure, I know mine has a normal mode which is stock pedal play. My guess is that the pedal component itself would have to fail. I can unplug the controller and as far as I know it still functions at last setting entered. I don't think unplugging that reverts it to stock in itself. I've had no issues with mine including hauling my 30ft camper.

If you have AlfaOBD, check in "ECU Configuration 14" and look at "throttle" settings. Have heard that turning off the filter really improves the response.

Here is what mine was from factory:
Acceleration Threshold: 480 degrees
Acceleration Factor: 5

I did it with my DiabloSport and the throttle response is 100% better. No add on's needed.

I need to back into AlfaOBD and see what they are now.

I tried out the following for a short bit;

ECUConfig14 /Acceleration Threshold: Filter Off
ECUConfig14 /Acceleration Factor: Filter Off

The story I heard was that it was a black & white improvement but only while driving sportily.
I wasn't too impressed and reverted to default settings.

I would appreciate learning about any successful tweaks you've discovered in this area.

Sorry, global up is a no go.

Yes, that's most unfortunate, I've had no success with it either.

I use the global down periodically, then start the truck. Jump in and hit the auto-close on both front windows.

Global down is better than nothing.

Mine always stop after a couple inches. But it's enough to get some of the oven heat out before I jump in

Try to focus on holding the unlock button and you should be able to drop them completely open.

Also, line of site with the FOB seems to affect connectivity too. I wait until I'm close enough without obstructions and seem to be more successful at getting the windows completely open.

As a test, try the operation while standing next to the truck. Sometimes I wonder if it's time to change my FOB battery because I don't get the distance I once did.

I'm going add a battery change onto my 'to do' list.

I've experienced the partial open too but not when I'm close enough and paying more attention.

I just used the Diablo to flash ECM / BCM / TCM and haven't tried the Car Config tweeks on it. I only tuned up the Diablo 50% and the response is noticeable when driving around town and driving it like a hemi should be driven, but seems OEM when driving like granny. Pretty good mix, I think.

On the second Unlock press, HOLD until the window is at the desired height.
Thank you sir. I've been doing just that, and sometimes it continues lowering, but most times it acts like the signal was interrupted. I've tried new battery, and the backup remote.

How about while standing next to the truck?

Yessir. Always eliminate the simple stuff. Even pulled my security bypass out (2018) after clearing changes, reinstalled, reprogrammed, same thing. Still, even opening just a few inches, or, at times, fully opening, is great to let the heat out.

OK, one more thought. Where is your cell phone located during this attempted 'windows global down' activity?

I found that my cell phone, even in airplane mode, sometimes compromises the use of my FOB.

I finished paddling a kayak on the river and opened a dry bag containing my phone & FOB.
It wouldn't let me unlock the truck until I removed the FOB from the area of the phone.
These high-tech toys can be a PITA sometimes.
