My 2016 has had the overhead lights fail 3 times. First two, FCA replaced the complete units. Now I have one light on one off, though often when they worked they were weak or dim. (yes I know I could have a bulb out)

I've read it could be:
Bulbs
Bad switches
Bad wires

Other than bulbs, I'm interested to learn the most common diagnosis, and solution.

If it was bulbs, I doubt FCA would have replaced everything!

Must have affected many owners.

Sounds like you have the factory LED overhead lights, this post may help:

I've got Led interior lights around and l leds in the bed, so must have Led package.

It's a bit confusing because your linked article talks about a 194 led bulb.

How do you determine if you have a plug in Led bulb, or if you need the 6 led panel.

Seems that if it is the 194 led bulb, there's no need to take down the console.

I'm sure I have Leds in overhead console. Unlike several videos showing plug in regular 194 bulbs or some plug in 194 Led bulbs, I have neither.
What's there is a small square flush led panel of maybe 10 tiny Leds, but nothing to plug in or unplug.

Any videos for replacing this type?

This video has the 194 removable bulb.
My 2016 had the factory Led package originally, so no 194 removable bulbs.

Anyone know how to replace factory Leds?
