Hello all, new to the site so hello all from DFW :).

So for my BDay I got the AMP BedSteps and as I was looking at the instructions I see that it says they have to be torqued to a certain level. I do not have a torque wrench, and really do not want to spend the $$ on one either since this will probably the only time I would need to do this. So 2 questions would be how much would you guess it would cost to get them installed at a shop? and Does it matter what the torque should be? Other suggestions perhaps?

Thanks,
Michael

No need to torque something as simple as a bed step. Tighten up the bolts to a point where they feel right and call it good.

Did the same with my bed step, no issues so far. I have a torque wrench but didn't bothering pulling it out for this job.

Well after freezing a little I got it installed. It was not that bad and I am happy with my first mod :). Now to figure out what is the next project...
