Installing an electric fan on 08' Hemi?

Hello guys,
I recently purchased a OEM electric fan from a Dakota (V6) to replace the clutch fan on my truck.

Has anyone performed this modification on a 3rd Gen Ram? It has a male plug already attached to the fan motor and my understanding there should be a female plug possibly inside the engine compartment for this modification.

Any info would be greatly appreciated.

LOL no. The only factory electric fan that came in a 3rd gen Ram is the one for the A/C. 4th gens had that OEM. You'll have to rig power to it and wire in a temp switch. There's been writeups on doing this to a 3rd gen all over the interwebs for at least 15yrs lol.

It does not. The 3rd gen has a completely different setup and would require custom fan setup

No, hell no lol. How the hell did you jump from "only 4th gens had that OEM" to "oh I can put it in a 3rd gen???" LMAO. You'll have to buy an aftermarket one (Flexalite 180 was always popular) or an old Taurus fan: https://www.ramforum.com/threads/electric-fan-flex-a-lite-183-vs-88-95-taurus-fan.52357/
But you still have to wire everything up with a fused power source and a thermo switch.
