And on a related note, @CustomTronix jailbreak gold and silver kits now are fully plug and play since they added camera power connectors to the t-harness at the radio. Smart. Would have saved me a few headaches. That front camera emblem is really a great way to go IMO. I should have just ordered it vs a rigged mount in the grill for a basic Amazon camera on mine...

Issues with mopar camera install

Mine was the same in the tailgate . Pretty easy self install kit with good instructions imo . Definitely worth doing yourself!

LOL the hardest part for me was actually finding the BCM , then figuring out the C-5 connector was actually labeled " E"
Once I found the BCM through process of elimination there was only one connector with 45 pins and 45 was the right color ...

I just did the install on my 2013 slt hemi, when i hooked the battery back up and put the key in i have no radio screen at all and I'm getting the shifter service and trasmission service and so on errors...what did i do wrong that the instructions dont say to be geting these errors? Whe i disconnect the red wire from the pdc everything is back to norm exept no radio screen. Has anyone ran into this?

Are you sure you have the correct fuse # for Parkview?

Make sure with a meter the fuse #95 as shown here .

At the PDC is in fact the wire you spiced into .

This is mine , the red wire from the kit solder spliced into the factory pink & yellow pwr wire from the fuse #95

Also for the blank radio , there is an in line fuse between the battery and the brake booster that may be blown , I'd check it out . Some are wrapped up with factory tape ?

It's the 10 amp #95 fuse labeled Parkview on the pcd lid if I remember correctly.

You'll have to Un latch the PDC , turn it upside down and verify with a multimeter from the top side with the fuse removed , to the bottom side for continuity to be 100% correct ...this is what I do .

I just checked that fused it's a 20 amp and it's good. I'm connected to the 95 fuse.

Did you disconnect the rotary shifter when you pulled the center stack off? I think this happened to me when I installed mine and that was the problem. I just forgot to plug the shifter back up.

This is frustating. When I Unplug the connection that goes to the radio I get no shifter errors or anything. As soon as i plug them everything acts up

That may be why its showing the service messages. As far as the radio being black I would double check the wiring at the back of the radio. Make sure you put the new backup cam wires in slots 31-33 on the connector and not 1-3. Also made this error when installing mine.

The only wire I didn't connect is the yellow wire cause the instructions say nothing about it they only say the purple wire to connect To C5 which is marked As E on my BCM

Right. I'm saying double check the three wires you had to plug into the radio connector. The instructions say to put them into slot 31-33, but the way the pic in the instructions is shown is confusing so I ended up depopulating pins 1-3 and replacing them with the new wires which was incorrect. I believe pin 1 is the power supply and one of the others is a CAN BUS wire, so without those the radio wont power up.

Ok so your saying that basically no wires need to be removed. Those spots are empty
