Instrument/Gauge/Odometer Cluster - 02 1500

I've researched this a little online, and seen similar issues on other Dodge Rams and other brand (i.e. Ford) trucks: my Odometer light on my instrument cluster fades in/out, and has been getting progressively worse. Its to the point where the Odometer light on my cluster is out for a week or more at a time now, and then randomly lights back up again. Weirdly its just the Odometer/lamp-out/cruise light part of the instrument/gauge cluster (see EXAMPLE photo below) - all of the other lights seem to work fine.



Is this something worth trying to fix, or should i just buy a new instrument cluster?? Any recommendations on buying one (i.e., getting one used or any good aftermarket brands)?
