I've seen people that delete that hose from the intake to that oil filler neck thing an run a small filter off it. My questions are what's the benefit an what size filter do I need for it?

Just go to any parts store and pick up the cheap breather filters. The top of the filter is about the size of a quarter. There is hot air and a little oil that runs through that hose. Keeping it out of your intake isn't going to show a huge HP increase, but every little bit helps.

That's a big reason I wanted to do it. It seems I've been deleting Alot of things from the engine bay as of late figure ill just finish it off

Just a heads up if your gonna run slicks the track will prob require you to have a drive shaft loop. Depends how slack tec is but for your and the trucks safety might wanna install one.

Damn it's mid to low 30's here. The truck sure does like the colder weather. But I don't. Good luck bud.

Thanks David :):)

Ole truck was running strong in a 83 degree Florida day in December. Tho after the first pass when I turned off the track the truck died. Not sure what that was about.

What did ya run? And did it do anything funny before it died? I know mine acted up after a pass and the PCM freaked the hell out and was sending my tune from dead lean to rich and had to toss it in N and give it some RPM to settle out. It didnt like the sand that pass.

14.04, 13.93 an 13.76 mph was between 95.8-96.8 an no didn't really do much. On my 13.76 pass tho while I was waiting to get the light the truck was idling like **** like it was gonna die kept stumbling an was at like 500rpm.
