2011 ram 1500 hemi . I have had an intermittent miss along with decreased fuel milage for several months. Taken it to dodge dealers and all they say is its normal for a hemi to miss and it's not throwing any codes. Any suggestions?

Plugs maybe. How long has it been since they have been changed? Any dealer that you tell you that a miss is normal I be looking at that dealership in my rear view mirror.

Does it happen during a pull?

As in you put your foot flat to the floor through the entire rev range, and you feel the power coming on and off?

Because I have this, and think it is the beginning of my mds lifters eating the cam. I figured it's not opening the valves all the way, which would not release all combustion and cause hesitation.

But I also get no codes.

First off whats your mileage and whats your fuel mileage? and when does it feel like it misses? mine has a slight miss/rumble here and there at idle and its normal but no miss under power if it does that then its not normal.

Hi Pickelman & LeesEvoX,

I certainly understand why this would be concerning. If you end up addressing this with your dealers, please let us know via private message. We would be more than happy to have your concerns documented and provide you with an additional layer of support for that process.

Lol yeah right. So they can charge me thousands of dollars, and hold my truck for months while the backordered lifters show up.

No thanks.
