Hey Guys! Random question but anyone with an iPhone 8 or higher have a problem connecting to Bluetooth and not being able to use the messages option on the display screen?

Not iPhone, I have a Google Moto X4, but my Bluetooth has a real hard time connecting sometimes. The RAM will say my phone is not in reach. Usually I just give up on media and listen to XM when that happens.

There's a related thread on this as well - for the texting feature, it seems that Bluetooth MAP (Message Access Profile) has to be enabled on your phone. The manual says that the iPhone doesn't have Bluetooth MAP feature.

Go into the settings menu on the iPhone - Bluetooth. With the phone paired click on the “i” icon next to the Uconnect. Make sure that “Show Notifications” is turned on.
