Old drag racing tip, if you're running a 2 wheel drive truck with an "A" arm style front suspension,is to back the top shock mount nut off as far as you can on the front shocks,to help with weight transfer.
Might not make any differance,but doesn't cost anything,so usually worth trying once at least.
Air your front tires up by 10% over reconmended tire pressure on the tire,not the pressure listed on the door.
Drop the rear tires by the same amount.
Try not to use the brakes hard coming out of the water box,the hotter the pads are,the more friction they create when initially released on launch.
You want the launch as free as you can get it,once a tire starts spinning it's hard to get that initial traction back
