Hey,

2010 Ram 2500 5.7 hemi 4x4.
285/70R17 Tires
10 3/4" tire to body in front
12 1/4" tire to body rear

I just bought the truck and was going to install a 2.5" leveling kit because I have 315/70R17 tires for it.
While taking apart I noticed my front shocks are a couple inches longer then stock length as listed online.
When the truck is jacked up with nuts removed from the top shock mounts in the front, letting the axle go to full droop the shocks are fully extended and are over an inch from being seated at the top mount. Meaning the shocks are doing the work of a limit strap if ever full droop is seen. Is that normal?

Do I have lift coils in the front (there is no spacers)?
There are blocks over the rear end, are they stock?

Thanks for any help! My first Dodge...

The measurement numbers dont really do much to anybody for comparison unless they have the same size tires.

But just looking at that pic of the truck, it looks as is the front and back have both been lifted a few inches.

The rear axle has lift blocks. I'd imagine the front has something lifting the height as well. Need more pics of the front end though

Thanks for the replies!
Turns out the front springs are heavy-duty ones usually used when adding a snow plow. That's why it was a little higher than stock. I still added the 2.5 leveling kit and it worked out good.
I did some research and found there are 9 different possibilities of front coils the 2010 2500 came with from the factory! That just added more confusion!
The believe the rear is stock. Newer 2500's blocks were smaller but I found a stock(what I was told) 2010 and it had the same blocks & leafs as me.

Hmmmm. The rear looks abnormally high for stock height. Small tires?
