is the body the same on a 2003 4.7L ram 1500 and a 2003 5.7L ram 1500

I have a 2003 ram 1500 4.7L and i want to know if the cab of a 2003 ram 1500 5.7L will fit on the 4.7L truck???
the engines are different but the body should be the same right?

Like I said, the body itself will fit just fine (hence the "yes"). Swapping harnesses is never fun but will probably make your life easier. Make sure you can do that, i.e. if the replacement cab has dual zone climate and the original doesn't, you'll have to make that one work.

are you just changing cabs, or are you swapping engines too

I know when you are doing a straight swap, like a 4.7 to a 4.7
place the engines side by side & swap & look at the sensors closely

WE were swapping a 3.7 out of a Border Patrol Jeep into 3.7 Ram with a thrown Rod

the 1500 body style was the same from 2002 - 2005, then there was minor changes up tp 2008

The Heavy Duty Rams made the body style switch in 2003, 1 year after the 1500s
