So, I bought a used 2014 Sport back in January, this is my 4th gen Ram. It runs strong, but with 3.92 rear end, they will pull pretty good. I installed a pedal commander, ran it at sport +2 and sport +3. It really isnt making a big difference to me. So what I am wondering is if its possible I have a tune in the truck that was never removed, and if there is a way besides going to the dealership to tell? From all the reviews, it seems the PC makes a very noticeable difference...

That is really surprising that you don’t feel much of a difference, have you tried the Commander in say city setting to see if you feel a difference from sport mode?

I have tried all settings except ECO. I mean sport+ +4 is just way to sensitive, but running at say city +3 and sport +2 or +3 really is not giving me much of a difference over no PC connected. Like I said, driving in the durango r/t with it, Huge difference, so I know what the PC is capable of. Its like there is a 3rd variable here that is downsizing the effect of it

Was your truck sluggish off the line before or have poor throttle response.

there is no way I could have ran the PC on my truck when it was running stock tires, I could not hardly take off on a gravel road with out spinning tires let alone on wet pavement.

Even with tuning, the Pedal Commander will only enhance what is pre set in the tune. Do you have the Bluetooth model or the older Pedal Commander?

Interesting, my truck is all stock. Launches fine. I can pass easily and really never have to press the go pedal more than 1/2 way to really get up and go, unless I want to play.

That's interesting. When I installed my PC I could tell the difference immediately with any of the settings I selected. I have to keep mine in City +3 for normal driving or I'll be eating tires. Sport +2 is fun, but a little too sensitive in my truck for daily driving (either that or I have a heavy foot :)).

That is exactly how it is when I hook the same PC up in our durango r/t. Put it in the ram and ho hum...I know it works as the response in the durango is incredible. who knows....
