2014 SLT 2WD QC. Just want to level (lift) the front, but everything I see is only for 4x4 or lifting 4-6" all the way around. Are there any 2" front lift options for 2WD?

Are these the RC springs you got:
https://www.roughcountry.com/dodge-leveling-coils-9232.html

I also found these CST springs:
http://performancelifts.com/cst-2013-2018-ram-1500-2wd-coil-springs-csc-d3-3.html

So by putting on 2" front springs you got the torn ball joint? Or did that happen from something else?

Getting ready to pull the trigger on front lift/level. Just worried that 2 inches isn't enough to get LEVEL. The reviews and posts say these work on 2WD, I've seen pictures that look ok...

But if I use a tape measure on MY truck, it's not adding up - my front fender is currently 3.5 inches lower than the rear, so how does a 2 inch taller spring get me level? Is my tape measure wrong?

We offer 2"-2.5" lift coils w/ slightly longer front shocks. We also have 2" coil spacers. What engine is in your truck?

Went with the least expensive option, the 2" coil springs from Rough Country. Installed myself, which took me twice as long as replacing 16 spark plugs. Ended up with 2.5" of front lift on the truck. Ride is stiffer over speed bumps but seems better in corners and stopping. Next up 20" wheels, 33" tires, and alignment...

I see kits for 2wd V-8 models. What about V-6 models? Would it make the front just a little bit higher?

If it's a 2WD and you just put in 2-3" springs or a spacer, then the original shocks are fine. Did you install the level kit yourself? WHO told you you need longer shocks?

You could get “ shock bracket extensions”. If it is a concern , I’m not sure how much leway the factory shocks on the 2x trucks have.

My Rough Country level springs were done with the original shocks, no issues what so ever.

I installed them a professional worker but on the outside he put me 2.5 level kit but he told me that before doing the alignment he recommended me to change my shock for a longer one to avoid problems in the future

My last Ram was a 2wd and I did 2.5" poly coil spacers up front. I had to get longer shocks. It rode like crap with the originals as they were almost out of down travel. What I ended up doing was buying a set of 2WD 2500 shocks. They mounted up the same and everything and were 2" longer. If you go on the shock manufacturers websites, they will show you the dimensions of the shock eyes and the compressed and extended lengths and what not. I put 180,000 miles on that truck with that set up with no problems.

Versus 2" level RC springs that are stiffer than the OEM springs, so they travel less than OEM. So I'm guessing that I'll never experience an "out of down travel" condition. But if I did, what would that feel like exactly / how would I know ?
