Is there any *easy* way to put universal front shocks on the 4th gen?

More of a discussion and education for me than something I intend to do.

I know that the 4th gen uses the ?special? lower mount for the front struts. But is there any reason one couldn't use universal struts with a shaft through the bottom eyelet similar to what radflo shows in their product image? If not is there any reason that more people do not go this route and why everyone has to make ram front suspension specific mounting for the ram front struts?Screen Shot 2022-02-16 at 11.44.18 AM.png

On the 4wd lower control arm there is no way to do that as the actual mounting point is an eye. Hence why the ram struts use a u shaped mounting bracket to attach to the lower control arm.
