Is there anyway to turn the gauge cluster lights off..

when the truck is off and in ACC? I hate listening to the stereo with the truck off and having the stupid gauge cluster stay on. I don't even know why it does that. I also hate the 10 minute timer when the truck is off, and not in AAC. With my Magnum I can change the timer to never shut off, but the Ram only goes to 10 minutes. Is there maybe something the AlfaOBD can do somewhere as I have one of those.

I HATE the lights too at oh dark thirty!!
I have 2 rags on floor(no console) just to cover the guage and stereo so Im not in a fishbowl!!

I wonder if the "Police Vehicle" or "Military Vehicle" options in Alpha OBDs "Configuration Change" would let you control them with the dash dimmer even with your headlights and running lights off...
I'm tempted to try it. But if you use Alpha you know why I'm hesitant to just turn options on all *****-nilly.

Haven't got my truck yet but from interior video looks like a rheostat next to headlight switch for dimming the dash lights, see page 51 of owners manual

That only works if the headlights or markers are on. Doesn't when the headlights are on DRL.

I just upgraded my google Drive. Ill take a backup of my BCM this weekend and try the military & Police Vehicle modes.
