yeah, 5oz.....the duplicolor ones are 8oz, and 3-4 bucks less a can. BUT, they don't make this color. The last PBS (deep water blue) set I did - cost me (well, the customer) $45 in paint. Got it mixed and put into spray cans.

Jeremy, have you talked to your local paint shop about mixing cans? before I started using HVLP, I got them to mix cans of mine (PXR) and for a HUGE can, like 16oz or something, it was $20. And it looked better IMO, better flaking and a harder paint, than the MOPAR. Also, their clear looked better.

Just a thought. If you used two cans this would end up being cheaper and better

I had them mix up some paint for me on the first blue set I did - the smallest they'll mix is 1 pint, and the cheapest paint is right around 25 a pint. Its a single stage too......

I wish I had the room for a paint gun and all that stuff - it would make things a lot simpler! But, this works for now. :D

I meant the paint shop mix up a rattle can. Most can do that. Were you saying that they would only mix up 1 pint in separate spray cans or did you buy an actual pint of paint and activator/hardener?

I have quite a few paint shops around me, but the two Ive been to both sell me 1/4pint ready to spray for $8ish for a dual stage. I used a single stage and wasnt crazy about it.

They put it in rattle cans, but they won't mix any paint under a pint. So......the one I got for the first blue set - 25 for the pint of paint, 2 aerosol cans (7 bucks a pop).......its too much. I need to see if there is another paint store close. I think there are 2-3 of them pretty close here.

Yea just call around. Like I said, they mixed me up a 16oz (i think, it was about 2x the size of a duplicolor can) for $20ish. Its fresh mixed so the flake doesnt all stick to the inside of the can, also. Even a mixed clear looks better because they can put a hardener in it which the walmart/auto parts store cant.

Both of my places do, so theres a good chance ONE will by you
