Then you can't go wrong with JBAs ceramic coated shorties unless you want to later on go with a custom tune with long tube headers .. that will surely keep you busy lol ....
I am looking into a tuner after doing the headers I've been checking out some not really sure which one to go with yet I already installed a magnaflow catback & S&B cai

Then I wouldn't go with shorty headers ... long tube headers with a tuner are better

I guess when moes opens up I'll have alot of questions for Matt he seems to be very knowledgeable also

The guy you're looking for is Matt Fikac ,he's Moes and you can find him on High Performance Rams or Tuned Rams on facebook,he's kicking around both sites more these days, and if you tag him on either site he'll usually answer.Another good guy to deal with that knows these trucks inside out is Kyle Tingle,he's owner of Guage Performance and you can find him or his employee Stuart Clayton Griffin on those 2 sites to.

I went YouTube surfing last night.

There was a guy with a Charger, 5.7 that did a base dyno run. Then he added a canned tune, intake and Shortys. The dyno says he picked up 20 hp, and 20 torque. A Charger and our truck isn't the same, but they do share the 5.7.

No broken bolts.A little extra HP+Tq, which means my engine is breathing a little easier. I'm still EPA legal, cuz I retained the cats. Plus I'm not out a bunch of money, I'm good with that.

Long tubes are great. But I'm just into too many different things to take them all to the "nth" degree.

Money isn't a issue how good are they ? Nick says they come with really good gaskets & hardware would they have to be wrapped ? Cause I'm not sure if I would or is it better to just go with the jba's with ceramic

After watching all the youtube videos and reading on other forums I personally would go with the ceramic coat ... and just wrap lines and hoses with the heat wrap instead ...

I recently installed JBA titanium ceramic coated shorties with the Remflex gaskets. In my opinion the JBA shorties had subpar weld quality even with being covered with ceramic coating. They also leaked right out of the box at the welds where the primaries meet the flange. I have a video I will try and post where I snoop tested the system while applying air pressure through the tailpipes, very clearly leaked at the flange welds. TunedRAMS has a youtube video "JBA Leaking Headers or Gaskets?" where he experienced the same issues, I believe he mentions twice.

I realize this is not going to be the case for every set they sell but it speaks to their level of quality.

The shorties also did not seal well to the factory y-pipe. An RTV high temp sealant is 100% necessary which just adds another layer of complexity when installing.

If I were to do it over again, no question I would go ARH long tubes and y-pipe. I personally would not purchase another JBA product.

Also in my experience I had to re-tighten some of the bolts with the Remflex gasket. The Remflex gasket is top notch though, seemed very robust and well made.

I've seen guys ******** about weld issues across all the major brands lately, that includes ARH /Stainless Works /Kooks / JBA's and there's even been guys ******** about fitment issues on all the brands lately, including ARH's.Makes me wonder if Covid cut backs at the major header manufactures means the quality control department is the first department to face cutbacks,as quality seems to have taken a back seat lately,or else they're so damn busy trying to keep up,things are slipping by the QC department or the QC department has been told not to look so close and let things slide, with the idea the manufacture're will deal with it on an individual basis
