Been looking into upgrading the stock 5" radio in a 21 classic and sent joying an email asking about which unit would be a good option and if everything would work correctly with any of the newer units. This is the response they gave within 24 hrs, figured I'd drop it here to save someone the time:

Sorry, we do not have the workable harness adpater for keeping your steering wheel control and your factory camera. you can check the harness adapter from other harness seller.

Your factory microphone can not be kept no matter whether you purchased the microphone adapter. you only can use our external microphone.

I believe nearly all of them support the OEM camera. You just need to buy one advertised as being for a Ram.

It should be the same for at least 2013-2021 (classics).

I don't see why not. The head unit is actually cheaper but you only get 2GB RAM/32GB ROM in the single din 10.1 units available on Amazon. You also lose the built in Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. They replaced it with a screen mirroring app in this version. Plus the quick buttons on the side are replaced with the volume slider. You can find the same screen I have on Joying's website but then you are paying close to the same price as the double din version. See above for the mounting kit you would need instead of the one listed originally. I have edited my original post to include the single din mounting kit and the correct mounting kit for Rams with touch screens.

I’ve got one of the single din ones in my 2010 and it has CarPlay still.
