Picked up my 2020 Limited on Friday; Love this truck! Ive come from a 3rd & 4th gen ram 1500, but the 5th gen is Incredible. Heres a pic of my new baby and my old one. Gonna miss my ’14 as she was a good girl. Time to make some new memories.

Came with nearly every option, and has the multifunction tailgate (butt crack as ive called it)

Here's 2 more pics. Going to find a touch free wash then put paint sealant on it today. My last black truck had so many swirls from all the automatic car washes over the years.

Very nice! I've got a black 14' CC. I like the classic 4th gen look but seeing them side-by-side like this (same color helps) I can't help but notice how archaic it looks compared to the 5th. Thanks for the pic and congrats on the truck!!!

Awesome congrats! I'm holding to see if we actually get the hellcat trx before I move to a 5th gen. But they are super nice none the less.

Initial impressions are great. I do notice more road noise than my last truck, but in all fairness, I did soundproof it (might need to do the same here).

Very nice. Wish my 2500 had the split tailgate. Would be great for loading/unloading pallets!

Noticed the cabin is kinda noisy on the highway; im investigating a thread on another forum about a missing bed to cab rubber seal part number 68309888AA

It's a cheap addition and it did help my 19 Laramie sound levels which are fine now. The best investigation tool is a roll of 2" blue 3M painters tape to check for leaks. I found mine was louder with the sunroof shade open so I taped the sun roof and found the sound originated near the front. Also found an issue with the rear passengers door window.

Told the dealer what I found, they were happy I ran down the issues and ordered the parts to fix both issues. Much better now although the seal did help with the rear vent noise.

You feel a little silly driving a red truck with blue tape on it but it works.

I suspect you could argue that the dealer should have done the investigation but my bet is they are limited in hours they will be compensated for so they might just keep throwing parts at it.

As a note - they created a star case for both and the repair sheet said they had discussed the issues with FCA to confirm the cause and repairs.

I think it's a 1k option on the window sticker. Honestly, I wasn't crazy about it at first. If they had a similar one without it, that's what I would have gotten. Having used it now for a week, I love it and am glad I went with it. Use it as a door more than dropping the bed.
