Runs great 5 years now !

I love it when the hemi guys feel inadequate. I mean, I REALLY love it... Those of us that have the 3.6 are happy and unless it was someone with $h!t credit or they couldn't afford more, we all purchased because it fit what we wanted.

I guess it's like a lot of other contests in life, if you feel a need to compete with someone who isn't trying to compete with you, the problem is yours and it's obvious to others that you lack the confidence in what your packin.

HAPPY MEMORIAL DAY Docwagon1776!

Thanks. I stopped by one of our chaplain's cookouts and I don't know that it was exactly "happy" but it was what Memorial Day is about.

Anyway, don't get your tit in a wringer. It was obviously humor, hence a comedian attached to it. Man you V6 guys are defensive....

That Mark VIII LSC looks sharp! It's been a long time since I've seen one of those being taken care of. Props to you!

PS. I'm glad the Pentastar has found some loyal following, me included.

Who, exactly, are "you V6 guys". Are you referring to one individual? For the record, I have never been "defensive" about my vehicle. I love my 2019 Pentastar Classic, and I will never offer any "justifications" for it, nor is anything of mine "in a wringer".

Your whole premise and your statements are nonsense.

Just watched the new video that came out about the Hemi, and it’s sad how badly it’s designed. I can now fully say the first generation 4.7L is of a better design, it’s sad that Chrysler discontinued the amazing 4.7L for the badly designed Hemi. The 3.7L was garbage, and i’m happy that they can atleast design a world class NA-V6.

Just purchased an off lease bighorn crew with the v6 & 3.55 gears. Drove a hemi too. Hemi's got balls no question, but for my needs I realized th V6 was plenty. Had my 438 HP Corvette, 320 Hp Caddy. Tons of fun but the Caddy was an expensive car to buy, own, and maintain. The Vette was a blast. Hoping this Ram will last as long as I do.

Of course they are. I get that text strips communication of a lot of nuance, but if you're taking this seriously I think you're missing some key elements. I don't typically post a stand-up routine with something I intend to be taken seriously.

I need a hemi (6.4) for my purposes, but when we got my wife's 2013 GC, we traded in a 5.7 hemi powered Grand Cherokee. I wanted the pentastar because it's a good V6 and it fit the needs. It's a great engine so far with nearly 90k miles; great fuel economy and plenty of power, even behind the old 6 speed. Enjoy those sixes, they do quite well for their intended purpose.

There’s a video on Youtube about one that managed to go to almost 700K, and that was a pre-redesign 3.6L, and he said and i quote the bottom end will more than likely last you forever if you change the oil. Now, since 2016 with the new 3.6L redesign, i wouldn’t be surprised if the heads lasted you as long as the block.

Which is honestly why i love the Pentastar so much, Chrysler honestly made the BEST decision pairing it up to the 8 speed. World class engine paired to a world class transmission, i like the sound of that.

Fair enough, but your're a fool to send a kid to a 4 year school when you can send him to community college, receive the same education (if not just for credits) for much cheaper and transfer to the 4 year for the last two to get the correct paper...[emoji6]

I owned the 3rd gen Ram/Hemi. I enjoyed that truck, didn't need the Hemi but enjoyed it. I'm 2 years in 50K with this 2018 Ram/3.6 and love this powertrain. The fuel mileage, smooth ride plenty of power for my needs. Not giving up the 4x4 though, it makes those long commutes during snow storms more pleasant. :)

Anyone actually tow with the 6? I don’t have a need, just curious what I COULD tow if I had, well, something to tow.

I've towed around 3,000 lbs with mine...it works. One thing that didn't work (but did with a Hemi) was pulling tree stumps out of the ground.

Haha, funny thing is I have no context. Don’t own a boat, don’t own a trailer and have no idea what either weigh
