Finally pulled the trigger on my Bilstein 5100 install. I did all 4 corners, set the front at 2.1 and did a 1.5" spacer in the rear to keep some rake. I love how it turned out!

Here's the before and after:

Now for tires... I'm keeping my factory 20x9s and thinking about picking up the new Toyo Open Country AT3. I've been going back and forth between those and Terra Grapplers. I'm hoping to fit 295/65r20 but we'll see...

Looks great. I’m running a 305/70r18 on my truck. Measures 35x12 picture is with bilstein a set to 2”. I’m now sitting 3/1 with eibach in the second picture. No rub on either but my wheels are 18x9 -12 so I have more clearance on the inside. You may need a small wheel spacer

Looking good OP, I would suggest if you don’t do a lot of off roading going with the grapplers.

Perfect stance!

they should have come from the factory like that!

And FWIW, as long as the tires spec out no bigger than 12.1” wide on your 20x9 you will not rub the knuckle.

Why? Do you have some experience with them? I was under the impression they'd be pretty good off road.

Thanks! And good to know a 12.1 should work. According to Toyo they measure 11.8" inflated. So hopefully that means I'll be good.

I think it looks great & athletic with the tires it has, run 'em till they wear out. Big tires are just money and fuel usually for nothing more than vanity.

Thanks, yeah I totally agree. However, my tires are pretty close to worn out already. That's why I'm looking at new ones. I don't want to do another hunting season and winter on how worn my tires are. The cost difference for a 2" taller tire is negligible and in some cases it's actually less money for the bigger size. Between the Bilsteins and taller tires I'll end up with 3" more clearance underneath + better approach and departure angles. So for how I use my truck the mild fuel economy drop is worth it to me and since I'm already needing new tires it makes sense to do it.

I would love to see where taller tires than stock are cheaper, seriously! Never have I seen such a thing if comparing tire prices and size differences using only the same tire brand & model.

Cause I def would like bigger and cheaper next time around!

Looks good. Personally, I prefer the conservative lifts (mine recently got a 1.5/.75 lift) for daily driver. At 2.1/1.5 your's is sitting about 3/4" higher than mine, 34" tall tire is a no brainer, doubt you'd even tell the difference between 33" and 34" tire though. 35" tall, on stock wheels, I think you will be fine.

As you get some miles on them, please let us know how those 5100's are working on the rear. You're in Utah, I would think the road quality is comparable to what we deal with in Pennsylvania.

Yeah man, check this out. Note the sizes.
295/55/20 vs 295/60/20 vs 295/65/20
All Toyo Open country AT3. Maybe there's just less demand for the 65s because most people that want 35s go for the 12.5 wides? That'd be my guess.

I like toyos and i'll keep a copy of this pic handy next time tire shopping. That just isn't common to find cheaper on a bigger size!

Ok..i was not wrong:) Your post led me to believe you were comparing the price of stock size 275 60 20 to bigger tires. Doing that, the 275 60 20s at discount in the same tire are $261 per tire. Lol.

295/65R20 is a very common upgrade size on the F250/350's out there.
It can be very helpful to run a 'common' size tire. Having to order a tire and wait 2-3 days can really SUCK.

Good choice on tires, but I’d stick with 295/60R20 ... With your amount of lift, the 65’s will look stuffed

Got my alignment. For those with more experience, do these look normal?
