Katzkin Leather. Are they worth it?

I miss the leather seats and Navigation I had in my Tundra. Is it worth installing leather seats into my 2014 Ram Big Horn? What can I replace power head with for navigation. Only 62,000 miles in mint condition. Love everything else about my Big Horn.

Love my Katzkin. No issues at all with them. I have had them installed now for approximately 2 years. Also in a Big Horn package.

I had katskins installed on a previous car and I'll say it was the best money I spent. the leather seemed like it was actually better quality/thicker than you'd see OEM. So assuming their quality hasn't changed, then whether it's worth it or not depends on how much you miss the leather seating.

I am going the clazzio covers route should be here soon. I will post pictures but it's another option for you to consider https://www.clazzio.com/index.php. I also did the 8.4 Nav/Carplay/AA upgrade in my 2015 made a huge difference. It's expensive but it's worth it if you intend to keep the truck for a while like I do.

Put Katzkin's in my Big Horn 2 years ago and love them. No issues what so ever and the fit is perfect.

I think I paid $960 installed but prices are going to vary depending on where you are I think. I happened to have a Katzkin dealer/installer near me so it worked out well. Ram Dealer near me want like $1400 ... Edit: Just wanted to add, this is on a 2500 Mega Cab
If you want to tackle it yourself you can get the skins for half what I paid installed but I wasn't about the try myself and didn't have the time.
Now if you want an official Ram logo embroidered on the seats you will have to go through a Ram dealer, you cannot get the official logos without going through them (and paying a premium). I really wanted the logo so it looked more factory but couldn't justify the price difference.

They are replacement skins, so your old seat covers come off and these take their place. It's not a "cover".

i just sold my big horn and got the laramie, i was slowly changing the big horn over, but there are like 20 other things then just leather, had i kept the big horn i woulda gone with clazzio or katzskins -both have great reviews.

The 2011 flip up seat didn't come with one. I had to buy an aftermarket one from Geno's.

You paid 750 including the leather? damn I paid 500 and did it myself. I would have 100% paid 250 to have someone else do it for me. It was rough lol

Yep picked up the covers new from a guy on eBay $400-450 that never got around to installing them before he traded his truck. Then paid $250-300 to have them installed lol, I’ve could of probably tackled it myself but time is money and I lacked the time and just didn’t feel like doing it myself lol. Dropped it off and picked it up the next day... worth every bit.

Yeeeeeah exactly why I paid a shop lmao I’m not one to pay someone to do something I can do I rather be the one turning the wrench but in this case... I had a bad flashback from one of my old vehicles when I installed leather and it was a nightmare told myself never again lol.
