do you have a transponder key ?
they have a programmable electronic Chip in the head

or do you have this type ?

There is no actual key that is inserted in the ignition
the only key is in the case & only works on the doors

It is called a FOB
inside the case, there is a Green Circuit Board & a round battery

sometimes the battery gets weak

other times the silver contacts just get crud built up & need a bit of cleaning

There are several Youtube videos on FOB opening & cleaning

This type also needs programming
Some of the better automotive locksmiths have a machine that is used for programming

There is a company that makes something that maybe you can use

As I stated I'm from UK we call them key's.

I've replaced batteries in both my original keys/fobs they still don't open or lock doors.
I've taken them both apart and cleaned them inside.
Have spoken to a few locks smiths they all said need a key code witch is what I'm asking for where can I get this code from??

From a Ram dealer. In my experience a dealer costs no more or perhaps less than a locksmith for key cuts and programming.

Buying what you need to DIY it ends up cheaper in the long run. As a bonus you dont need to go to a stealer****.

Guys, maybe you did not notice, the OP lives in London

there is no easy access to Dodge Dealerships over there

sounds like the lock smiths over there need a PIN Code

They're probably talking about the PIN. Two ways I know of without the dealer or locksmith

There's an app on the play store - Chrysler PIN puller

or AlfaOBD can now get it for you - it is somewhere in this thread, but it is a ton of reading

Sounds like you need your 4 digit code for your RF hub. A dealer can give it to you but some refuse to do it. There is the AlfaOBD which can get your pin and also an App called PIN PULLER. It's a little weird but you download the app and buy credits then pay for your PIN with the credits . Sounds shady but it works. I have used both methods successfully. Attached is a screenshot of what it looks like with the Alfa when you retrieve your PIN. I ha e used it on mine and my buddy's truck and used the PIN PULLER app to get the pin for another buddy's truck that I used ALFAOBD to enable the factory remote start.

the code you're after is a 4 digit pin, not the changing 5 digit code, think the Z-Automotive Tazer will program keys, however just take your vehicle to dealership and tell them you want that 4 Digit Code, with ownership papers and they will give it to you, the dealership uses that code for servicing etc, some may argue but DON'T LEAVE WITHOUT IT! A reputable locksmith has the tools to pull that code also.
