Keyed starter replace Push button starter!

Hello, I have a ram 1500 2023 and I have a keyed starter. Is it possible to change all this for a push button starter?

What is the price for a kit and where can I buy it.

Yes it can be done on some truck and YES it is EXPENSIVE :O

I changed my key starter to a pushbutton. I had to buy the pushbutton assembly, new RF hub, a receiver module or two, new fobs, and add some additional wiring. I also had to buy the correct wiring connectors, along with the proper crimping tool. Then, I had to program the truck for the different hardware using AlfaOBD.

Overall, it wasn't worth it.

Well a paper map or a globe would also tell you they aren't exactly close if Google is beyond your comprehension
If your in Michigan,you should know where Quebec is,it's north east of you,and you can't be that dumb you don't know which Canadian provinces you're close to

I changed my keyed ignition to push button and addd the proximity door handles at the same time. Total for parts including making my own wire harness was about $800 and that was back in 2020. At a minimum you’ll need a new RF hub, two antenna receivers, push button assembly, new fobs, fabricate a wire harness and a way to program the whole thing. It’s not a difficult upgrade but it’s pricy.

Yea nothing surprises me about the US's school curriculum anymore,it seems to leave abit to be desired about anything outside the good ole US of A. . Even still you should know where Ontario and Quebec are,Windsor's just across the river from Detriot

I only took college classes in the US, not a whole lot of topography in that
