I have a 2007 and my key got bent. I was wondering if I buy new key and switch guys over it should work?

Then yes. I've done this on two cars with this style key. Hint: Walmart can't charge you to cut a key if you bring one in because they don't have a barcode to scan (since you aren't buying one).
