Well....
Middle son goes to work on Saturday morning after having the snow dump on us for the night. Apparently he did not let the truck warm up with the heat blasting the windshield. Windshield is snow & ice covered. So instead of waiting a few minutes or just scrape off the windshield, he turns on the wipers while frozen to the windshield....
I go use their truck to run a quick errand the next day, I hit the washer fluid and the washer fluid squirts out, no issues, but no wipers. I run into the city where I needed to run errands....thank goodness there was no rain or snow. I stop and check fuses and all the other stuff I can. Long story short, he burned out the wiper motor. Granted it is the probably the original motor, but it still worked.
NAPA was the only place that could get the motor within a day. Ordering online would have taken longer (cheaper) but the truck couldn't be down because of the boys work schedules and school.
More annoyed that he didn't wait for the truck to warm up or just scrape the window off, plus not telling me that the wipers didn't work anymore. The new wiper motor works as it should...
