The power increase is what really blew me away, I expected to be able to feel a little bit of something, but the increase is night and day it pulls much harder from about 1200 rpm on

Honestly my #1 favorite mod I've done to my truck is hands down the kooks long tubes and Y. I didnt think anything would beat the trinity but the kooks did

So, now that you have had them installed for a year, what are your thoughts? notice any difference in mileage? I'm getting ready to pull the trigger on the LTs and the green Cat Y-pipe soon I think...

That's a much better video of the sound and you can see how pretty the pipes still are. Just take that sound and imagine it about as loud as a shotgun blast and that's what the cold start is haha

I can vouch for this. I turned my 2.1 PC speakers up all the way, and it startled me a tad. 8/10 realistic.

Sound even more bitchen since I did it this way, too. Hmm.

How've you been, dude? You were MIA for a long while, there.

More like a rice car. But it's stick and handles well, and isn't perceptibly slower than the truck. Plus it literally doubles my fuel economy, and with prices going down, anyway, it's a double win.

If my truck was single cab, I'da probably kept it, though. IDK.

Gonna consider building that tribute car for my dad, now. Classic Corvette with an LS7 swap and modern chassis parts. That's the idea, anyway.

Only other thing I could think to put in it would be an LT5. DOHC chevy small block? **** yeah. And it sounds NASTY, too. Not as much power or aftermarket, though. Besides, the bone stock LS7 would do all I'd want or need it to do.

Hmm. Maybe a 572? Nahh.....

Thinking about adding them on my car. Are they noticeable during the daytime?
Blue and red are very noticeable in daylight, but illegal of course lol I just use the green usually so I don't get pulled but unfortunately the green isnt super noticeable in the light. These are the newest morimoto ones with xbt bluetooth controller 5516b90af061bb05bcd91f642562cacd.jpg6fcf81c84975eceee0f08c4cfcb6fbc4.jpgafea67e5df9aeab44f4acb30714cc2e2.jpg

Of course you can do any color you want but blue is the brightest and red is probably second. I was actually a little disappointed in that I expected them to be a little brighter, but o well
