L.E.D. Tinted cab lights

Had some condensation in two of my cab lights from over tightening the screws so ordered new tinted ones. See how they hold up. I reused the rubber factory seal pads and screws as the new ones were made of foam.

Mine did the same things after about 4 years. The plastic just had small stress cracks all thru the screw areas. My gaskets were rubber, and I re-used them too.

I’m not sure how well the bulbs will hold up. Only time will tell.

I just bought the same set from Amazon and am looking to add them to my 2500 which does not have the factory lights. Any chance you could take a couple pictures showing the spacing / location of the lights in relation t things such as the windsheild, body lines etc?

I bought the same cab lights and after a while some of the LED's would not stay on (the light adapters are garbage that came with the tinted lights). I had to open a few and crimp the contacts a bit tighter and use dielectric grease and a small pull tie to keep them on. Good news is that it seems to be working fine, bad news is they will definitely be needing a replacement. BTW, I looked into Recon ones also and when they arrived they had the same POS leads coming from their lights, only difference their lights were sealed and felt really cheap (then again for $95 what would I expect, made in china also)... Returned, thanks amazon!

Hope this helps, I took a couple for someone else but lost a few. The order are the first three pictures are from driver door across first three lights. Unfortunately I loaded last two backwards, the 4th picture is from windshield to the three middle lights, and 5th picture is from windshield to outer lights.

I will try to get the spacing picture number one that shows actual distance, it got cut off.

Well I am about a month later that I expected but i finally got he LED cab lights installed yesterday. There are a few youtube videos that show the steps needed. I ordered the lights from Amazon www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01LZKT8QX/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I also bought the template from EBAY which was a life saver. Took about 3 hours including a run to the hardware store for grommets for the holes the wires run thru.

There is a plug on the passenger side pillar that you tap for power. Its the white wire with a green strip on it.
